Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

This policy is for people in the United States. It explains how Calibr8 collects, uses and shares consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370) and Connecticut's Data Privacy Act.

1.What We Collect

Body data: your weight, body measurements, caliper readings and body fat percentage.

Food and activity: the foods you log, with their calories and nutrients, and the water, steps and workouts you log.

Your profile: your goal, age, sex, height and activity level, your diet type and the allergens you list, and your answers to our questions about your goal and habits.

Eating episodes: the ones you note in the app, and your answers about them.

Your messages: what you write to the AI coach in the app, and the plans and notes you save there.

Our calculations: your calorie and macro targets, your weekly check-ins, our estimates of your energy expenditure and body composition, and how regularly you log.

2.Why We Collect It and How We Use It

To provide the service you asked for: to calculate your targets, track your progress, coach you and answer your questions.

We do not sell consumer health data and do not use it for advertising.

3.Where It Comes From

From you; from an AI assistant you connected, when it logs something at your request; and from our own calculations on that data.

4.Who Receives It

Our service providers, which process it only to run Calibr8 for us, under data processing agreements: database and web hosting, the AI models behind the coach and other features in the app, email delivery and error monitoring. Our Privacy Policy names each one.

An AI assistant you connect yourself, such as Claude or ChatGPT. It receives only what you approve on its connection screen: your food diary and daily totals, your targets, your goal, diet type and allergens, your training days, your weight and body measurements, and your latest weekly check-in. It does not receive our estimates of your energy expenditure or body composition. Its provider handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Other members of the Calibr8 community, but only what you post there yourself.

Public authorities, where the law requires it.

No one else receives it, including any company affiliated with us.

6.Your Rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, to send you a copy of it with a list of the third parties we shared it with and how to contact them, and to delete it, including from our backups.

In the app you can review and correct what you have logged at any time, download a copy under Export My Data in your profile, and delete your account and your data under Delete Account.

To make a request, email support@calibr8nutrition.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days.

If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We decide an appeal within 45 days and, if we deny it, tell you how to contact your state's Attorney General.

7.Tracking Across Other Websites

No third party collects your consumer health data through Calibr8 over time or across other websites and online services.

8.Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. We tell you about a material change by email before it takes effect, and if it means collecting, using or sharing your consumer health data in a new way, we ask for your consent first.
